What is ICEFISHX? 
Intelligence Communications Enterprise For Information Sharing and Exchange (ICEFISHX) is a partnership between Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota law enforcement agencies.  It is an internet-based intelligence sharing initiative and alert network designed to collect and disseminate information relating to terrorist operations and other criminal activities to law enforcement, government agencies and the private sector within the tri-state area.  This group produces and disseminates intelligence products, conducts training and establishes and maintains liaison with state and local law enforcement officers and agencies operating in the tri-state area.

ICEFISHX is the mechanism to collect incident reports of suspicious activities to be evaluated and analyzed in an effort to identify potential trends or patterns of terrorist or criminal operations within the tri-state area. Through ICEFISHX the intelligence products will be disseminated with a summary of the information in the form of a monthly report.  ICEFISHX will also function as a vehicle for two-way communication between federal, state and local law enforcement community within our region.  

Why ICEFISHX is Needed.

With the cooperation of the law enforcement community, ICEFISHX will assist in the dissemination of a comprehensive intelligence product offering officers a regional picture of trends and patterns reported within their respective jurisdictions.  ICEFISHX can also serve as a training resource to the law enforcement community, as well as a point of contact for all agencies serving the tri-state area.
